About this month’s gathering…

Last month, we gathered around the question: "What have you been thinking about for too long?" and the conversation that unfolded was something truly special. As expected, each woman came with a uniquely different answer, yet somehow, those individual stories created such a rich and deep discussion. Thank you for sharing vulnerably, for trusting this space, and for continuing to carry that conversation into the GroupMe chat throughout the month. That kind of ongoing processing and community is exactly what Ministry Strong was built for.

As we step into June, we're building on that same theme, and going even deeper.

This month, I want you to come prepared to sit with this question:

What ARE YOU CARRYING RIGHT NOW THAT ISN’T YOURS TO CARRY?

This question is the first in our conversation around HANDS - the second pillar of our HEAD, HANDS, HEART theme. While HEAD invites us to examine our thought patterns, HANDS asks us to look at what we're doing, holding, managing, and perhaps gripping far too tightly. So many women in ministry are carrying loads they were never meant to carry. This is your invitation to name it.

There is truly no wrong answer here. Come as you are, with whatever is on your heart. Before our time together, I'd encourage you to take a few moments to pray and invite God to reveal what He wants to show you. Ask Him to bring clarity to what belongs to you and what doesn't. You may be surprised by what surfaces.

And if you haven't yet taken the HEAD, HANDS, HEART Assessment from last month, now is a great time to complete it or revisit your results. Your assessment may offer some helpful context as we prepare for this conversation.

About the retreat
